The Town of Millet is hiring a 2024 seasonal administrative employee for an 8-week term to perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Town.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To assist Administration with records management retention including but not limited to scanning policies, bylaws and agreements.
  • Web & Social Media Content Updating
  • Provide assistance to Administration as required.
  • Answer phones as necessary.

Working Hours:

  • 70 hours per two-week period

Position Requirements:

  • Strong Computer Skills (including but not limited to Web & social media)
  • Must be able to act in a confidential manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work alone.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum Grade 12 education

Eligibility and Compensation

Due to the position being funded by a government grant to be eligible for student summer employment, individuals must be:


  • legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution or just recently graduated within the last 6 months
  • returning to academic studies in September
