PLEASE TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN THAT USE THE SKATEBOARD PARK

The Town of Millet kindly asks parents to have an important conversation with their children about road safety while using scooters, bikes, and skateboards.

We understand that children are excited to play and explore, but we’ve noticed some concerning situations in the parking lot at the Millet Civic Center, which is a one-way street. It’s disheartening to see near accidents happen as kids race in the wrong direction, putting themselves at risk of being hit by vehicles backing out.

We appreciate your help in reminding your children about the importance of following the rules of the road when accessing the park. Together, we can help keep our community safe and ensure everyone enjoys their time outdoors. Thank you for your support!
