RE-LAUNCH DATES
June 11 2020
Due to the new guidelines, the Town must make some changes prior to opening some of their facilities. Here is the tentative schedule, as long as the relaunch continues and there are no further changes brought forth by the Province.
HALLS
We are currently required to do some upgrades to ensure we meet Alberta Health regulations, therefore the halls will not be opened until July 1st. Bookings can be made by emailing recreation@millet.ca. When the halls do reopen users will need to ensure that all provincial guidelines are followed.
BALL DIAMONDS
Diamonds are now open, the Town will be cutting grass but will not be dragging shale at this time. Everyone MUST ensure they are following the social distancing regulation while utilizing the fields. All users are AT THEIR OWN RISK and the fields are on a first come first served basis.
DOG PARK
The Town is currently undertaking some adding some additional fencing at the Dog Park, the contractors stated this should be complete in approximately 2-3 weeks, we will announce once it is open again.
SPLASH PARK
There are several changes that need to be done to meet the new regulations, we are in the process of having these done and will advise once the park is re-opened.
ADMINISTRATION OFFICE
We are currently updating the Town hall to meet new safety standards. Due to the fact that the office is very small and we only have 1 washroom, we need to ensure we meet new regulations and will announce when we will be reopening as soon as we know! In the mean time, the phones are still being answered, during regular business hours and there is a 24 hour on call 780-916-6591 for emergencies.
