In the summer of 2020 the community christmas tree was damaged by a storm. With the relocation of the Town Administration Office, Millet Public Library and Community Hall to the Millet Civic Centre (Old School) Town Council has designated a large spruce as the new community christmas tree and lights are being currently being sourced by Town Administration.
