Millet obtains new Manager of Enforcement Services

November 10 2022

The Town is saddened to announce that our Manager of Enforcement Services, Mitch Newton, has decided to explore other avenues and will be leaving his position with the Town of Millet on November 18, 2022. The Town wants to thank Mitch for his 4 years of service to the Town and for all the valuable relationships he has formed during his employment. We wish him all the best on his new adventures.

Christine Hepburn will be joining the Town of Millet as our new Manager of Enforcement Services/Community Peace Officer 1 on November 21, 2022. Christine was a member of the R.C.M.P for 12 years. She is no stranger to Millet as she was an RCMP member with Wetaskiwin detachment for 4 years, as well as our School Resource Officer. Christine ran the D.A.R.E program in our area for many years and recently ran anti-bullying sessions for Griffith-Scott school.

She comes to us with recent experience from the City of Beaumont as the School resource officer/Community Peace officer 1. She has extensive experience dealing with the youth, the public and community relations. She is looking forward to working with the Town of Millet. On behalf of the Town, we welcome Christine and look forward to working together to ensure our community is a safe place for all our residents.
