Last week, the Millet Civic Center was left without power for a substantial amount of time, due to a underground power issue. Although Fortis worked to remedy the issue as fast as they could, our food bank freezers were left too long which resulted in the loss of a lot of food.

Our food bank has seen a substantial increase in needs in the past couple years and this loss has a huge impact on our ability to supply all demands.

If you have anything to spare, the Food Bank takes food and monetary donations.

There is a bin at the Civic Center administration office and any monetary donations can be made at the Town office and a tax receipt will be issued.
