We have received calls regarding the April utility bills. Some people have received higher than usual water charges. After contacting the software company, it appears that this batch did an overall estimate, based on the past 6 months.
What does this mean? This means that when we do the next bill run at the end of June, we will be doing an actual read, so anyone with an overage this month will see the credit on the next bill run.
Regardless, once we run an actual on all meters, everyone will be charged exactly what they have used.
Just a reminder that council had waived any penalties on the utility bills for the next 2 runs, so no penalty charges will be applied for anything not paid by the due date on the bill.
