State-of-the-art fibre connectivity and advanced technologies bring Gigabit Internet to Millet

Grande Prairie, AB – As part of Eastlink’s ongoing investment in the community of Millet, people here will now have access to even faster internet speeds via Eastlink’s fibre optic network.
Internet usage continues to climb at a rapid pace of 40% year over year making access to high speed internet, particularly in smaller communities, more important and expected than ever.
“We are really excited to make our Gigabit service available to Millet,” said Krystina Colicchio, Sales and Marketing Manager. “With video streaming, music, gaming and emerging connected home technologies driving exponential internet growth, our customers tell us that they want and need increasingly faster internet to run the increasing number of devices and applications in their homes.”

Over the last five years, Eastlink has invested more than $177M in the small towns and communities it serves across Canada, including Whitecourt. Eastlink supports local organizations such as the Eastlink Park, local sports, and the Chamber of Commerce, among others, while sharing regional stories on Eastlink TV.
