Notice of Intent to Borrow Money

 

Pursuant to section 128 of the Municipalities Act and according to our electronic borrowing Bylaw 2020-13.

Notice is hereby given that Council will be considering the passing of Bylaw No 2020-23 to borrowing up to $2,450,000 for the restoration and renovation of the old Millet School, for the purpose of housing the new town office, library, community center and future needs of the community.

 

The borrowing bylaw received first reading on September 30, 2020.  Second and third readings of the bylaws are scheduled to take place at regular council meeting in November.                  

 

Council will receive submissions on the proposed "Intent to Borrow Money through the following means;

• Written letter submitted to the drop box located in the Municipal office
• Written e-mail to millet@millet.ca

 

The deadline for comments is October 30^th, 2020.
