PLAYGROUNDS RE-OPEN

Posted on Tuesday May 26, 2020 at 11:24AM

The Town of Millet will be opening 3 of our 4 playgrounds on Monday, June 1, 2020. The following playgrounds will be open:

*Leonard Gray in Moonen Heights
*Centennial Park on 52 avenue
*Phillips Park by Midland Park

The Millet School playground will remain CLOSED as it requires some maintenance prior to opening.

The following rules will apply to the playgrounds and if not adhered will result in re-closure:

*Physical Distancing restrictions must be followed – 2 meters/6 feet apart
*Group sizes must be followed – if the park is busy, come back later
*Use of Playground will be at your own risk
*We recommend cleaning you and your child’s hands with hand sanitizer at the end of your playground visit before travelling home and immediately washing your child’s hands with warm soapy water when you arrive home.

Again, failure to follow restrictions will result in playground closures.
