Leaders of Tomorrow Nominations

Posted on Friday February 09, 2018 at 02:21PM

Notice to All Millet Residents and Local Organizations

The Leaders of Tomorrow Awards is a youth volunteer recognition program which enables community organizations to publicly recognize the contributions of their youth volunteers. The purpose of the Leaders of Tomorrow Awards Program is to encourage the nominees to continue their involvement in volunteerism and leadership activities, as well as acknowledge that all voluntary contributions are valuable to the community.

All individuals and organizations are encouraged to nominate a young volunteer between the ages of 6 – 21 in recognition of their volunteer service in our communities. These young volunteers are the ones who are the first to show up, are always there to help out, are an example to their peers or help others around them shine! Nominees are recognized in four age categories: 6-11, 12-14, 15-17 and 18 to 21.

Millet is very proud that so many youths from the Town have been nominated for this achievement in the past and we do hope that this outstanding achievement will continue this year!
Nomination Forms are available at the Town Office. Completed nominations will be accepted until 12:00 noon on Tuesday February 20th at the Town Office. Nominations can be faxed to 780-352-7886, emailed to lynn.croft@wrps11.ca or mailed or delivered in person to 5515 47A Ave. Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 3S3. Should you have any questions, please call Millet Mayor, Tony Wadsworth, at 780-387-5483.
