June 15th was proclaimed as "AL KILBORN DAY" in the Town of Millet!

On June 15, 1972, 45 years ago, Mr. Al Kilborn, who was a Councillor for the Village of Millet, accepted the position as Fire Chief for the Village when no other applicants came forth. Since then Mr. Kilborn has rolled up his sleeves to give his own time and energy to do what needs to be done for the betterment of the community. Mr. Kilborn, accompanied by other dedicated volunteers strive to build the Millet Fire Department into what it is today!

SO.... on June 15th we encourage you to thank those who volunteer their time and consider volunteering some of your time for the betterment of our community!

The Millet Fire Department will be having a scavenger hunt (stay tuned for more details) throughout the day and then will be hosting a BBQ and Open House at the Fire Hall from 6-9p.m.
