Summary of Public Meeting - R.C.M.P.
On November 17, 2015, the Town of Millet, along with the Wetaskiwin R.C.M.P., Victim Services, COPS and our Community Peace Officer put on a public meeting to discuss ways that we can all work together to protect our community from the recent crime spree. Over 100 residents filled the Community hall in hopes to find a way to ease their minds and protect their properties. CAMPING FOR EVENTS AT AGRIPLEX
The Town of Millet no longer allows camping along the lands by the Agriplex and ball diamonds. The Millet Lion's Club has opened their campground (located right behind the Agriplex) for dry camping this year. If you would like to book a camping stall, please call Zella at 780-387-4620 or 780-387-1396.
GRASS BAGS WEIGHT LIMIT
Please ensure your grass bags are NO heavier than 40lbs and they are in CLEAR bags!
NO ATV's in PARKS
ATV's are not permitted in the park systems around Town. If you see someone driving one, please contact the Community Peace Officer 780-216-1073, or the RCMP 780-312-7267 IMMEDIATLEY to report them.
Homecare for Seniors
The Town of Millet FCSS offers a homecare program for seniors and those with disabilities. This service provides basic housekeeping to allow people to stay in their homes. If you are interested in applying for this service, please contact Lisa at 780-387-4554.
