Town of Millet Burn Pit

Location: West on 616 from Petro Can. corner, to the top of the hill west of Agriplex (Power transmission line road). Head south ~ 3/4 mile. Lagoon fence gate on east side of road.

Location: East from Petrocan, across tracks, ½ mile on right hand side

Thursday Noon to 8:00 pm

Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Charge: $15.00 per load, effective June 1, 2011, $20 per load.

***Please note, effective June 1, 2011 the transfer site will no longer be accepting cash, vouchers will be available at the Town office for purchase.

Grass Clippings

 

The Town of Millet will be undertaking a grass collection program for the summer of 2011
 
Town of Millet staff will be collecting grass clipping on a weekly basis every Monday.
 
Should you wish pickup, please have grass clippings bagged in a clear plastic bag and out the evening prior to ensure pick-up.

Bottle Depot

Millet’s Bottle Depot – on the east side of Highway 2A; 4520 49 St. 387-4135

Recycling

Wetaskiwin Recycling Depot at 5707 – 51 st. Open 24 hours daily.

West Dried Meat Lake

Location: Highway 13 East to 21 South, Past New Norway, over tracks.

Watch for sign before Ferintosh (Edburgh Cutoff).

Off Highway 21 to Highway 609 – on top of hill: Left Side (by Camrose)

Hours: Tuesday & Saturday 9:00 – 3:30 pm. Please take proof of residence (i.e. tax notice)
